RE: Errata - Kansas Economic and Employment Support Manual (KEESM) Revision No. 17

The following changes are being made to the online version on KEESM Revision No. 17. Two sections of the KEESM were finalized using draft manual material from the October, 2003 revision that was never implemented. This deals with "due and owing" expenses for medical eligibility determinations. The sections identified below are affected.

Section 8172.1 (1) (b) and (c) and Section 8270.1 (1) (b) and (c)

Both sections have the same material. Basically, the proposal to look only at due and owing expenses only if more than 12 months old was not adopted. The traditional "due and owing" rules have been put back into the manual. Sub-section c in both of the identified sections has been deleted. The correct manual material can be seen by clicking on the links above.
