The Starting Address populates with the office address based on your assigned Worker ID. The Resource Search page utilizes search proximity based on the Starting Address. The proximity search or Maximum Distance From Address drop-down menu defaults to All; however, the user can select a maximum mile radius to limit the search results based on address.
NOTE: If searching for a Placement Provider (Foster Care) go to Searching the Foster Care Resource Databank.
Select Resource Databank from Global Navigation. The Resource Search page displays.
Select Provider from the Category drop-down menu.
Select Active from the Status drop-down menu.
NOTE: When searching to add a resource, select All from the Status drop-down menu.
Enter all required fields and known information to limit search results.
Click the Search button. A list of resources fitting the user’s search criteria displays.
NOTE: If the search results are not satisfactory, click Refine Your Search and enter additional or different search criteria. If the resource does not exist in the Resource Databank, reference the steps for Requesting an Addition or Change to the Resource Databank.
NOTE: The search results can be sorted using the ‘carets’ below each listed column. Only one column can be sorted at a time. Additional columns of information can be obtained by clicking the View Detailed Results button on the Resource Search page. The Resource Search Detailed Results page displays information about the resource such as: service category, status, additional information and phone number. The search results are limited to 1,000 possible matches.
Click the Hyperlink for the correct resource. The Resource Detail page displays.
