User Sets A Spenddown Starting With The Wrong Month

 

Example: Consumer has a spenddown base period from 06/14-11/14. The user runs EDBC for 01/2015 in error and sets a spenddown of 01/15-06/15. The spenddown base should begin 12/14 and run through 05/15.

Complete the following steps to correctly set the spenddown base period.

  1. Using a Negative Action, Run EDBC to Discontinue the program for the month the spenddown was started in error. Make sure to Accept and Save the EDBC result to close the case.

  2. Delete the Discontinuance NOA.

  3. Rescind the application.

  4. Run EDBC for the month the spenddown should begin. Click the Accept button, then Save and Continue to save the EDBC result.

  5. Run EDBC for each month through the come-up month.

  6. Send the appropriate NOA/Form.

  7. Create a Journal entry.
