2850 Job Corps - This section contains policies and procedures regarding parents or caretakers participating in the Flint Hills CDC Solo Parent Program or other Job Corps program.

 

2851 Eligibility and Payment Coding -

 
 
  1. Parents or caretakers in the Solo Parent program are required to complete the ES-1611 "Request for Child Care Services".

    NOTE:     These parents eventually complete an ES-3100 application, if they remain on campus.

    Participants in other Job Corps programs are not required to complete the ES-1611, but will complete an ES-3100 application.
     
  2. The first day service is provided to the child by the Flint Hills Job Corps Child Development Center is the date of eligibility for child care. This is not applicable to other Job Corps programs.
     
  3. Benefits for child care are authorized through the eligibility system. The following Child Care Types and Need Reasons for Child Care values apply:
