12700 Opt-Out

Families who are eligible through streamlined certification who do not want Summer EBT benefits will have the ability to opt out of the program. Communication will be sent to families who will be automatically issued benefits due to streamlined certification. If a family receives a letter but doesn’t want to receive the benefit, the family can contact DCF and request that benefits not be issued. The family will be able to re-enroll in Summer EBT at any time before the end of the Summer Operational Period.
