    2. Clarifications

      1. Income Eligible (Non-TANF) Child Care – KEESM 2835(4) is being revised to state that the grades/progress of a post-secondary student shall be reviewed at the end of the guaranteed eligibility period, based on the cumulative GPA from the most recently completed term. In addition, the ES-1640a Educational Plan Completion Tracking form is no longer required to be completed at the end of a client’s approved educational program.

      2. Termination of Child Care Plans – KEESM 7640 has been modified to reflect that when a parent experiences a non-temporary loss in employment or stops attending (and is not enrolled in) an approved education or training program, including activities related to work programs, it will result in three months continuation of care, unless the parent requests case closure verbally or in writing, or there are less than three months remaining in the review period.
