3230 Loss of Exempt Status
3230.1 Loss of Exempt Status for TANF - The client will become mandatory the month after they are considered no longer exempt (see 3210).
3230.2 Loss of Exempt Status for Food Assistance E&T - An ABAWD or work registrant 50 – 59 without children under 18 on the food assistance case becomes mandatory for Food Assistance E&T when he or she loses exemption status due to changes that are required to be reported under the provisions of 9121 or 9122. An ABAWD or work registrant 50 – 59 without children under 18 on the food assistance case who has lost exempt status due to a change in circumstances that is not required to be reported under the provisions of 9121 or 9122 will be referred to the Mandatory Food Assistance E&T program and will be required to meet program participation requirements at the time of the next review.
