Reminder:
When a person or program is Reapplied in error, workers should not Negative Action (any Negative Action reason) the new application and then Rescind the previous application. The new application must be deleted by the KEES Help Desk before the previous application is rescinded.
Not following this process creates major downstream issues that require a data fix.
Reminder:
Before running EDBC, workers should ensure that all Program Persons who are in Pending status, are Pending all the way through to the come-up month. If the Program Person is not Pending through to the come-up month, do not run any EDBCs.
Example: Newborn added to program in 12/2018. Newborn should be Pending in 12/2018, 1/2019, 2/2019, and 3/2019. If they are only Pending in 12/2018 and 1/2019, STOP. Do not process the request. Please submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk. Processing the request before sending to the KEES Help Desk will result in a data fix being required.
RE Run Reason Validation Message
The issue related to the RE Run Reason validation message incorrectly displaying when processing a Prior Medical assistance request for a new application registered to an existing program block, that has a past due Review Due month has been resolved. The validation message should no longer display in this scenario.
Medical Workarounds Being Retired:
The following workaround will be retired. The issue has been fixed so the workaround is no longer needed.
WA395 Medicare Expense Detail Record Required Fields
The issue pertaining to the Medicare Expense page displaying an error message which was requiring workers to select a payment method when the payment method is not a mandatory field has been fixed.
If staff observe the issue in the future, please submit a ticket to the KEES Help Desk.
