**KDHE IT will be performing maintenance in the Curtis State Office Building data center during the regular IT maintenance window of 6am-Noon on Sunday, March 31st. This maintenance may cause the firewall to be unavailable for KDHE staff which will impact the ability to access KEES and other applications. DCF and Conduent are not expected to be impacted. The firewall also impacts incoming faxes for the KanCare Clearinghouse. Fax transfers will catch up after the firewall becomes available again.**
Please be sure to add the newborns to the Contact Summary page beginning with their DOB. Before sending tickets to the KEES Help Desk requesting CE periods be updated, check to see if the newest child has an address beginning their DOB and add them if not.
When a No Touch Fall Out task is claimed, staff must ensure that all consumers on the case have their address updated on the Contact Summary page, and all required information is filled out on the Individual Demographics page. If the address or any required data fields on the Individual Demographics page, such as gender, are not filled out, coverage will not feed over to KMMS after EDBC is ran.
Users sometimes encounter errors when attempting to run a Multi-Month EDBC. If this occurs, one option for users is attempting a Single Month EDBC. Running a Single Month EDBC, will allow the user to see any possible warning messages that may be present and prevent Multi-Month as an option. For instance, if the case has pending verifications, the Multi-Month option is not going to reveal the warning that is seen when using Single Month but instead may cause an error to display instead. This can be misleading, and a user may think the issue resides within KEES, however, the issue will be revealed if Single-Month EDBC is attempted. A KEES Help Desk ticket is necessary if the user cannot run EDBC with either option, of if Multi-Month cannot be used after fixing the pending verifications.
