In instances where staff are processing an application from the Worker Portal and receive the error message on the Tax Detail page - Error! Dependent Name - One or more of the Dependent Names is already claimed on a Tax Record for this year, please ensure you are reporting these issues to the Help Desk and not resolving it by creating a non-filer tax record prior to being instructed to do so by the Help Desk. The priority to resolve defects on any given issue is determined by the number of tickets reported to the Help Desk and we need an accurate account of how often this issue is occurring.
