Entering Hours for Student Eligibility

The July KEES Release is scheduled to be delivered Sunday, July 21st. This release will impact how staff enter hours of employment for rules related to Student Eligibility. Currently, hours are entered in the Status Information block on the Employment Detail page. Effective July 22nd, these hours will need to be entered exclusively on the Income Amount Detail page. This change is being made so that Employment Services can use the Status Information block for their data, similar to the WOHI screen in KS Cares. In an effort to minimize any needed clean-up effort, staff need to enter hours on both pages when processing an application, review or change prior to the July KEES release.

When entering hours on the Income Amount Detail page, it’s important to note that KEES will only accept whole numbers. This will change after the July release, but until then, staff will need to enter whole numbers only. Here are a couple of examples:

Child Care Provider Enrollment Staff

We’ve identified an issue with CLARIS license information not updating in KEES. If a provider is found to not have license information matching CLARIS, please submit an Incident ticket to the KEES Help Desk. Please do NOT add or update licensed providers manually. The KEES Help Desk will provide a response when action has been taken for the reported provider at which time you can continue your processing.
