Friday 7/22: 6am – 8pm
Saturday 7/23: 12pm – 9pm
Sunday 7/24: 3pm – Monday 8pm
A build is scheduled for this weekend. Below is a summary of what is included in the release.
The issue with case link requests remaining in Received status after the request has been processed and the SSP account is already linked to the case number in KEES has been fixed.
With this update a valid CHIP start date will now display in the NOA.
We will be introducing KIERA (Kansas Integrated Reporting Assistant) that will be located on the KanCare and KDHE websites. This will allow consumers to report address and phone number changes. This will help reduce the volume of address updates staff will have to complete manually. KIERA will map the updates into KEES automatically.
KIERA will authenticate the consumer via one of the 3 options below:
Primary Applicant’s Social Security Number (SSN) + Primary Applicant’s Date of Birth (DOB)
Primary Applicant’s Medicaid ID + Primary Applicant’s Date of Birth (DOB)
Case Number + Primary Applicant’s Date of Birth (DOB)
The consumer will be asked if any of the following apply:
Moved out of state
Address change is not for everyone in the HH
Moved in or out of facility (IC)
Foster Care children in the HH
If they answer yes to any of them then they will not be allowed to continue with the update. The consumer will be given a message asking them to utilize the Self Service Portal (SSP) or to contact the Clearinghouse to make the update.
Consumers will be able to make an update to the mailing and/or physical address. They will also be able to update the home phone number. These updates will apply to everyone in the home except for household members with the following household statuses:
Temporarily out of the home due to foster care
Permanently out of the home
Consumers can also update their mobile phone number. However, this update will only apply to the primary applicant.
When a successful update has been completed a PDF will be available in Perceptive Content.
Staff will also see the following in the Journal:

We have approved your application for KanCare Pregnant Woman medical assistance for <Variable>, as of <Variable> through two months postpartum.
EDBC will now give the correct role reason of Mem instead of FSO when running EDBC for MAGI coverage.
The Funeral Agreement Referral I012 will not display the Case Head’s address in the Address field any longer. Staff will now be able to manually enter the correct address of the company.
WA655 Invalid RMT Combo for PPS-AGO – The Rules update for the PPS RMT has been completed with this release. Staff will no longer need to apply a workaround to Medical program blocks with combined RMTs of MAGI and PPS (for AGO).
