Running EDBC For All Months Through Come-Up Month

Staff need to ensure each benefit month is run in EDBC, in order, and that EDBC is ran through the come-up month to ensure there is a high-dated EDBC produced. When a high-dated EDBC is saved and accepted, coverage will continue to transmit to KMMS until a change is made. Failure to run EDBC through the come-up month may result in benefits not being sent to KMMS, this includes the Level of Care (LOC) falling off from the benefit plan when the monthly runs.

Non-Medical Programs

 

Supplemental Payment for the Emergency Water Assistance Program (EWAP) UPDATE

Robotic Processing Automation (RPA BOT) was used in KEES the week of 7/10 to issue a supplemental payment for EWAP. A supplemental payment amount of $1247.35 was issued on behalf of 3681 active EWAP households. The payment was issued directly to the water vendor(s) listed in KEES on behalf of the household. The RPA BOT created a journal entry on the EWAP case number as well. Approval notices for the supplemental payment were generated on 7/14. However, before they were mailed it was discovered the incorrect benefit amount was listed in the approval notice. Clients with SSP accounts did receive the incorrect notice in their SSP Message Center. A data fix was completed last night to remove the incorrect notice from the SSP Message Center and Distributed Documents in KEES. In addition to the issue with the notice, there was also an issue with the payment file. Vendors have not received the payment yet. When the issues are fixed, and payments and notices are re-sent an update will be given.
