An issue has surfaced within forms and the use of the ampersand (&) character. Free format text fields will omit any text that follows the character “&” once the user selects Save and Print. Until a fix for this issue has been delivered to KEES Production, we recommend avoiding the use of the “&” character for all user entered free format text fields.
We have identified an issue where consumers are allowed to submit an SSP application without requesting assistance for anyone. While we look into this issue, KDHE Policy has indicated that staff will need to adhere to the following for these applications ONLY:
If no one on the SSP application has indicated they are applying for medical assistance, we must obtain the answer. As the eApp Summary is indicating, there is no one applying for coverage at this time; therefore, these will need to be researched to verify if they are in fact applying for benefits. This will ensure we are taking the correct course of action on these applications.
Currently there are two paths these eApps may take.
If No Touch is unable to complete file clearance/registration, then it will fallout and produce an Intake task for Registration Staff.
If No Touch is able to complete file clearance, then it will only be able to create a new case number as part of the registration process. It will not be able to create the program block since no one was applying for coverage. In this case, the program block will have to be manually created by staff once they have received confirmation of who is applying.
Staff do not need to continue to send in tickets on this issue.
There is a second issue which is impacting eApps that don’t fallout of No Touch at Registration (see below).
eApps that don’t fallout of No Touch at Registration should be producing a fallout task for Eligibility Staff (Process Application, Data Collection, Verifications, Run and Accept EDBC, or Generate NOA), but that is not happening at this time. We are working on a fix for this. Staff do not need to continue to send in tickets on this issue.
The Admitted From field on the LTC Data record was not holding the value selected. This issue has now been resolved.
Auto Worker/Casebank Assignment was not working for the ADAP and SSPP programs. This issue has now been resolved.
Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2022 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
Staff were receiving the error Error! Arrangement Period (From) - The program or the person within it is not Active, Pending or Non-Comp (Welfare to Work only) on <date> which falls within the Arrangement Period. Please adjust the dates. This issue has now been resolved.
Staff were receiving a Review Due message in error when running EDBC for a month after Multi-Month EDBC had been used. This issue has now been resolved. However, due to the issue below, staff should still avoid using Multi-Month EDBC.
Multi-Month EDBC is showing a soft warning of Earned income is not linked to an employment record even when the employment record has been linked. Until this issue is fixed, staff should avoid using Multi-Month EDBC.
Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2022 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
When a new Child Placement Provider was entered, the Case Summary page was not updating to reflect it. Instead, it continued to show the old Child Placement Provider. This issue has now been resolved.
