As more P-EBT applications are registered, we are noticing some registration error trends that are causing cases to require a second touch. Here are some registration reminders:
Duplicate ID’s
We are seeing a lot of duplicate ID’s. Extra care should be taken during registration to prevent creating a duplicate ID.
No Worker Assigned
After creating a P-EBT School Program, registration staff will need to take the additional steps to assign a Worker ID.
Incorrect people in the P-EBT Program Block
Only children with a Unique Identifier should be added to the Program Block. When registering, staff should click on the name hyperlink for each person in the Other Applicants section and then expand the Additional Information caret to check for a unique identifier. If the Unique Identifier field is blank, that person should not be added to the Program Block.
Address Data Acceptance
If a new address is reported on the e-application, the New record should be data accepted during registration.
Primary Applicant
Prior to linking and registering an e-application, staff should verify that the Primary Applicant is an adult. Children should not be registered as a Primary Applicant for PEBT.
P-EBT Subtype
All e-Applications for P-EBT should be registered as School P-EBT.
Using a Confirmation Number to search for an e-Application
After Submitting an e-Application, consumers are provided with a confirmation number. Staff can use the confirmation number to search for an e-Application.
