If you are processing an application that requires people to be Pending in different months, please do not use more than one rescind reason at a time. For example – an application received in 8/2024 - if you have some children that will be CHIP eligible, so they need to be Denied and then subsequently rescinded using CHIP Start Date in Future in 9/2024, but another child who received coverage on another case through 9/2024 and therefore needs to be rescinded starting in 10/2024, process the CHIP child(ren) to completion first. This means you should only rescind the people with the earliest date (in this case, the CHIP children) and process them through the come-up month. Once you are completely done with those children, you can rescind the last child using 2nd Month Ineligible. DO NOT do two different rescinds in a row. This will break the program block and a data fix will be required.
