Approval Notices

When staff are reviewing their system generated Approval Notices for accuracy and see that there is incorrect information, they need to send a KEES Help Desk ticket with a copy of the notice or screenshot of the incorrect information attached, before deleting and sending a Manual Notice.

 

Reminder

All notices need to be reviewed for accuracy before being sent to consumers.

 

Medical Processing Deadlines   

KDHE Processing Deadlines for FY 2024 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.

 

 

Non-Medical Programs

 

LIEAP Activities Occurring Over the Weekend

The LIEAP Discontinuance Batch is running this weekend for the 2023 LIEAP Season. Program blocks will be discontinued with an effective date of 11/1/2023. LIEAP Program Blocks do not have to be active to issue benefits, so staff do not need to rescind the program block for the benefits to be paid on cases that are still being corrected.

 

In addition, the messaging below will be added to the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) and Amazon Connect.

The online application for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) will be available from Monday, December 18, 2023 at 8am CST through Friday, March 29, 2024 at 5pm CST.

You can start applying for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) for help with your home heating costs on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 8am. Applications will be accepted through 5pm on Friday, March 29, 2024.

 

Non-Medical Processing Deadlines

DCF Processing Deadlines – Year 2023 have been updated and can be found on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures and in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
