What’s New for All Staff

Regenerate Button

The Regenerate button on the Distributed Documents Search Results Summary page will now be disabled and appear to be grayed out after the first click. This change was made to KEES in an effort to prevent staff from clicking the button more than once and sending out duplicate copies of regenerated forms.

What We Fixed for All Staff

Data Acceptance

NEW indicators were displaying for income records generated from the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and would not disappear. This issue has been fixed.

What’s New for Medical Staff

Remove Pending Verification on Deceased Date

The rules logic was updated to remove the Pending Deceased Date verification check. This means that with this change only Verified Deceased Date records will be used by the rules when determining if a person is deceased. This fixes the issue of incorrectly discontinuing an individual who has a Pending Deceased Date record.

TALX Employee Status Codes

Initially the TALX statuses chosen to be used for the Reasonable Compatibility determination were Active, Part Time, and Leave. Recently, it was discovered that TALX has more statuses which they consider to be Active employment statuses, in addition to the three mentioned above. Because of this, KEES will be updated to allow all Active employee status codes in TALX to be used for the Reasonable Compatibility determination in KEES. This will increase the income results returned in Tier 2 and allow for additional Reasonable Compatibility determinations to be completed. These updates should also decrease the amount of times staff will need to manually access TALX data. Current Reasonable Compatibility policy will not change, and only Active statuses will be used in determinations. A chart listing all statuses in TALX will be included in the KEES User Manual. These results will be stored in KEES for future reference.

Medical Grievance Data

KEES will now be able to electronically transmit grievance information that is needed in the generation of monthly grievance reports that are provided by DXC. As part of the system change, the grievance process was slightly modified so that the information needed could be captured in KEES. Please see Training and the KEES User Manual for the specific details.

Medical Reviews Batch Pre-Pop Reduction Effort

The following changes to the Medical Reviews Batch have been implemented in an effort to reduce the number of Pre-Populated Reviews being generated. The Medical Reviews Batch was updated with the following:
