An issue has been discovered with the No Touch automatic processor. It appears that some applications are getting approved in error. The KEES Help Desk is currently monitoring all No Touch processed applications and re-running EDBC on them to change the approval to a denial so as to stop benefits from going over to KMMS. Once that has been done, the applicants are being rescinded, the eApp Status set back to In Progress, and a Process Application-Manual task created. Staff will need to process these applications just like any other case that has fallen out of No Touch.
In light of the issues discovered with No Touch, the KDHE Policy Team has been consulted and provided the following direction:
If staff come across any cases approved by the No Touch Processor in error, they should follow the direction given in Policy Memo 2020-11-01 and cite KEESM 1112.1 and KFMAM 8312, bullet point #4. It is not necessary to submit any additional tickets to the KEES Help Desk.
