A build went in on Thursday night 11/09/23. Below is a summary of what was included in the release as well as any workarounds that will no longer necessary.
Household members will now show by Age and Household status in the “All People Associated with the Case” section of KEES.
We are aware there have been issues with EDBC denying a household for Excess Income instead of Delinquent Premiums for CHIP when EDBC is ran in the middle of a CE period. When this occurs, the worker needs update the system generated Discontinuance NOA with the CHIP Discontinuance Premium Delinquency fragment from the SCP. When an eligibility worker encounters this issue in KEES, they will need to submit a KEES Help Desk ticket.
Overridden EDBCs can now be processed by Batch EDBC.
Programs that had a previously overridden EDBC can now receive a Passive review if the other Passive criteria is met when the Reviews Batch runs each month.
4 new snippets have been added to overridden EDBC NOAs. The NOAs will now include:
Grandparents income will no longer be counted in PE determinations for their grandchildren.
Workers will no longer see Blank Discontinuance NOAs for clients.
Workers will no longer see consumers being Denied for TMD when they should be eligible based off of previous CTM coverage and now having an increase in earned income.
The reported issue of the Voluntary Contribution income type not counting on EDBC when making a LTC determination for MSP has been fixed.
Workers will no longer see Life Insurance policies counting as exempt on EDBC when they should be countable in the determination.
BENDEX will no longer create two SSA Income Change tasks for the same person on the same night on cases in KEES.
KDHE Processing Deadlines for FY 2024 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
The issue of a flag being displayed on a CC plan warning the hours were outside of provider hours incorrectly has been corrected. KEES will no longer display this in error.
Non-Medical case NOA’s will no longer contain references to Medical programs.
Employment Verification form V003 was creating a duplicate copy of the form in Distributed Documents when the form was generated. This will no longer occur.
DCF Processing Deadlines – Year 2023 have been updated and can be found on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures and in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
The PPS Payment Schedule for FY 2024 has been updated in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
