The Buy In Deletion Report will be available to eligibility staff on the 9th of the month. The Buy In file will be sent to CMS early on the morning of the 17th. The Buy In Deletion report that is received on 11/09/2021 will include all cases that lost eligibility 09/30/2021.
The removal of the deletion records by Gainwell Technologies will need to be completed by 5:00 PM on 11/16/2021. Any cases that need the deletion removed from the CMS file, will need to have an email sent to the Gainwell Technologies Buy In team no later than 2:00 PM on 11/16/2021 so they can be manually processed by the 5:00 PM deadline. The requests can be sent on a daily basis as the report is worked. Gainwell Technologies cannot guarantee that the manual processing will be completed before the CMS file is sent if the manual deletion requests are received after 2:00 PM on 11/16/2021.
If a deletion was manually removed from the CMS file last month, and the eligibility for that member is still not up to date in the MMIS at the point the deletion file is sent to CMS this month, that deletion will go to CMS even though that member is only listed on the Buy In Deletion report once.
If a new buy in case is being approved on or between 11/09/2021 and 11/16/2021 and qualifies for immediate buy in, please send an email to the buy in team so it can be considered for manual accretion to CMS on the file. The member must be known to the MMIS to be manually added to the buy in file. ksxix-buyin@gainwelltechnologies.com

The LIEAP Auto Issuance batch ran over the weekend and auto issued to households who met the following criteria:
Received LIEAP in the previous season.
Everyone in the household is 62 or older.
There is no deceased date in KEES for any household member.
All household members have social security and/or KPERS as their sole income source.
No address change or vendor change since previous season.
Here are some ways to tell if a household received an auto issued benefit in KEES:
The application date in the LIEAP Program Block on the Case Summary page is 11/13/2021.
The EDBC Source on the EDBC List page is Batch EDBC Rules.
The EDBC Run Reason on the LIEAP EDBC Summary page is LIEAP Auto Issuance.
The LIEAP Approval NOA contains this snippet: DCF is automatically issuing your 2022 LIEAP benefits based on information provided with your 2021 LIEAP application. Do not apply for LIEAP benefits this season. Read below for your benefit information. This automatic approval can only occur for 2 years before you need to apply again.
Households who received an auto issued benefit will start receiving their approval notices in the mail this week. Any household with an auto issued LIEAP benefit will not have a LIEAP application mailed to them in December.
The PTANF benefit was issued in KEES, November 11th. The benefit was issued to households who have or had an Active TANF program between April 2020 and November 10, 2021. Those households who have a pending TANF application dated November 10, 2011 or before will be considered for this one- time benefit. This batch will process again at a later date to pick up those additional eligible households. The notice will not go out tonight but rather will go out on November 16th and will be able to be viewed in Distributed Documents on November 17th.
