Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2023 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
KEES is not setting the FA Review Due Date properly when Multi-Month EDBC is utilized. Until this is fixed, staff should not use Multi-Month EDBC.
The PEBT batches ran over the weekend. Children eligible for School Supplemental P-EBT were identified and added to P-EBT School program blocks. In addition, the existing P-EBT Child Care program blocks were processed for supplemental eligibility. If the child(ren) were determined not eligible for Child Care Supplemental P-EBT, the program block was Discontinued. Supplemental benefits will show as “Issued” on Issuance History, with a future dated “Issue Date”. Supplemental benefits will issue in a staggered fashion beginning December 12th. In addition, Distributed Documents will show the P-EBT Approval or Denial (in the case of Discontinued P-EBT Child Care cases) NOA on hold. NOA’s will be released on December 12th.
Staff should not add anyone to any P-EBT program block or run EDBC on any P-EBT program blocks. P-EBT eligibility rules are not the same as prior years and any P-EBT clean up or applications will be processed by a special team.

We will provide you with the link once the 2023 Processing Deadlines have been updated on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures, and in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
