This weekend Saturday 12/4/21, KEES Operations will be upgrading ImageNow. During this time, KEES, all Portals, and ImageNow, including faxes will be unavailable starting on Friday 12/3/21 at 5 pm. All portals and ImageNow are expected to be back up by Saturday 12/4/21 around 3 pm. KEES will remain down through Sunday, due to batch processing.
This upgrade will consist of changes to the ImageNow tool, along with corresponding changes to KEES. We are needing to have everyone using ImageNow to perform a few steps to install the new ImageNow software, described in Perceptive Content - ImageNow Upgrade. Please do not perform these steps before the indicated day. One thing to note, the ImageNow name has been changed to Perceptive Content in this upgrade, so if you see this, this is the new ImageNow tool.
On Monday 12/6/21, please follow the instructions in Perceptive Content - ImageNow Upgrade to upgrade the software to access the new version. The process will be upgrading from 6.6 to 6.7 and then from 6.7 to 7.3. So please be aware that the documentation does say 6.7 and 7.3. Please follow the steps provided in the instructions.
After successful install, you will need to reset your default application plan and capture profile from the Perceptive Content Tool bar.
Please review Perceptive Content Launch that explains the changes for the upgrade.
If you have any issues with the software install, first try going into the office, and see if that resolves them. If not, please submit a ticket to EBITSM (EBITSM@ks.gov) with a subject line of Attention: KEES Image Now Issue (KDHE).

The ES-3103: Food Assistance Optional Release of Information and E-26: Food Assistance Work Registration forms were recently added to the Food Assistance e-Application. However, this information is not consistently appearing on the e-Application PDF. This information must be reviewed with the client at initial application and reviewed using the paper versions of the ES-3103 and E-26 until this issue is fixed.
ES-3103: A signed ES-3103 is valid for 12 months. If the e-Application PDF does not contain the ES-3103 language and DCF does not have a current signed copy in Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow), staff need to review this information with the client. For more information on this policy, refer to the Policy Memo. The ES-3103 can found in the forms section of KEESM.
E-26: Work Registrants must be provided the Food Assistance Work Registration information. Staff must explain verbally and in writing what the work requirements are. The E-26 can be found in the KEESM Appendix. Once the E-26 is explained and hard copy is given, they are considered to be Work Registered. See KEESM 2527 for more information.
DCF Processing Deadlines – Year 2022 have been updated and can be found on the DCF Intranet under Policy and Procedures and in the KEES Non-Medical User Manual.
