The Reported issue of No Touch creating a second pregnancy record has been fixed.

The reported issue of an FFM eApp getting registered with two people on the program with different application dates has been resolved.

Previously consumers who are reported being Aged, Blind, or Disabled were not able to complete an application. When presented with the question “Does anyone have a medical condition or emotional problem as a result from an accident or Injury?” and they answered “No”, they were forced to answer the Medical Subrogation questions. This has now been fixed and the consumer will only be required to answer the Medical Subrogation questions when they answer “Yes” to the “Does anyone have a medical condition or emotional problem as a result from an accident or Injury?”

Does the new search function also work on the Person Search page?

It works on the e-Application, ACSSP Registration, and Task Inventory pages.

TIAR V777 Form

Are we supposed to be using the TIAR form now?

KDHE Policy had previously indicated that Eligibility Workers should use the form on the website.  However, now with this update, the TIAR V777 form should be used in KEES starting 12/12/22.

Policy Q&A Log (Line 5 - available via KanShare):

The SCP is being updated to include a verification snippet for clarifying household members not listed on the application and/or when there is conflicting case file information regarding household composition. The KC-4510 (TIAR Form) does not allow staff to identify when there is discrepant information regarding household composition.

Additionally, KDHE Policy has identified some confusion surrounding  when it is appropriate to send the KC-4510 and KC-4520. The V777 in KEES is labeled the TIAR form. The TIAR Form, also known as the KC-4510, is a form sent specifically to households to request relationships and tax filing status for members in the home. The KC-4520 is a form that gets sent to the household when an applicant is claimed as a tax dependent by someone outside of the home and only requests tax filing information and income. The V777 in KEES is the KC-4520 based on Page 1 as it states “You have told us that the following people are claimed as tax dependents by…” and then includes the information for tax filers and dependents. PM2018-03-01 further clarifies the V777 is the KC-4520. At this time, the KC-4510 will need to be sent from the KDHE Policy Appendix.  Once the KEES Release is complete, the form can resume being sent from KEES>

No Touch

Why does No Touch set up a case but never finish it?

No Touch has been set up to 'fall out' of the process at EDBC. This change occurred when the November 2022 Release was loaded to Prod on 11/19/22.

This has been mentioned in the 11/23/22 KEES Dispatch--see below for more details.

No Touch

Will there be any updates to keep no touch from creating new case numbers when there is a useable one available?

At this time, the base product that KEES is built from doesn't have this ability.

Duplicate SSNs in SSP

Is this only for the SSP?

Yes it only checks for duplicate SSNs entered when applying through the SSP.

SSP

Is there any way to prevent a newborn from signing the SSP app?

No there isn't.

TIAR V777 Form

Will the form still automatically generate in Spanish if the PA indicates that is their language?

You will need to select Spanish when sending the form,

Duplicate SSNs in SSP

Will that help with the "this SSN is already in KEES" error?

No this error message is only for the application that the consumer is filling out in the SSP,  It does not compare anything to KEES at this time.

No Touch

Are they going to get no touch to work as originally planned?

There are defects with No Touch and we are working on the solution to them.  No Touch will no longer approve benefits until we resolve these issues.

SSP

Is there ever going to be an option that SSP will require consumers to fill out the PM questions if they check the box for PM?

There is a future release planned where the Pmed questions will be fixed.

No Touch

When did the EDBC stop running for No touch?

No Touch has been set up to 'fall out' of the process at EDBC. This change occurred when the November 2022 Release was loaded to Prod on 11/19/22.

11/23/22 Dispatch

Temporary Fallout Reason for No Touch
Given the recent issues with No Touch, we have made an update to the No Touch Process.  At this time, No Touch will continue its normal process but if a case gets all the way through to the end and is at EDBC, a temporary new fallout reason will now exist.  Rather than have the case approve potentially in error, it will fallout right before being approved.

The task that workers will see is not completely new, but there will be different details within.

Task
Run and Accept EDBC

The Task Details will read the following:
Accept and Save EDBC could not be performed for No Touch.  No Touch fall-out flag for EDBC is turned On.

Please note that this flag is temporary until we can resolve the incorrect approvals that No Touch is currently making.

NOA

Will there ever be a fix with the generated denial NOAS saying 'under 64 and not disabled?'

KDHE Business is currently working to resolve this.

Non-Medical Programs

What’s New for Non-Medical Staff:

KEES has been modified to allow the ability to add TANF months from another state even if there is not a TANF Program Block on the Case.

The Attendee drop down menu on the Customer Appointment Detail page has been modified to no longer display minors or case members with a Household Status of Added in Error. This modification prevents

minor children or persons created in error from being selected for an interview.

The enhanced rate on the ES-1627a form has been updated to $7.25.

The medical expense snippet that appears in Food Assistance approval NOAs has been updated to outline who may qualify for a standard medical deduction (SMD) and provide examples of what types of expenses

may qualify.

KEES has been modified to allow staff to enter ABAWD records up to 7 months in the future. Prior to this release, workers were only able to enter ABAWD months 5 months into the future. This was inconvenient because there are 6 months between the Application and IR, or IR and Review. Depending on when the case was processed, staff were only able to enter 4 or 5 of those monthly records and would have to set a task to set the remaining months. With this system change, staff will be able to enter ABAWD month records up to 7 months in the future. This will allow the worker to enter all the way up to the next planned case touch (either the IR or Review). Hint - even though there are only 6 months between each IR/Review, the 7th month accounts for our processing month.

In addition, KEES has been modified to allow staff to enter TANF Time Limit records for Hardship up to 13 months in the future and end date Expense records up to 13 months in the future.

KEES has been modified to display the Re Due Date on all EDBC Summary pages when using Multi-Month EDBC instead of just one. Due to an existing defect, staff should not use Multi-Month-EDBC until notified all issues have been fixed. It has been discovered that not only is KEES is not setting the FA Review Due Date properly when Multi-Month EDBC is utilized, but the benefits don’t issue either. Staff can find impacted cases on the Skipped Issuance Report to issue a benefit. A weekly data fix is being completed on the impacted cases to correct the Review Due Date. Help Desk tickets for this issue are no longer needed.

Non-Medical Issues We Fixed:

The Child Care Detail page was requiring workers to click the Calculate button for each month of the Family Plan. This issue has been fixed so staff only need to click the button once to calculate the entire Family

Plan.

The Activity Progress Detail page has been fixed so that absent hours can now be entered.

The Activity Progress Detail page has been fixed so that staff no longer receive a zero error when saving the page.
