'Info Rcvd On Denied/Disc' - IROD task Generated in Error

We are aware of IROD tasks sometimes generating when there is currently a Pending application on the case. It is no longer necessary to submit Help Desk tickets for this issue.

 

Must Override EDBC for the HCBS/BI Waiver

We are aware of EDBC not approving HCBS BI waivers for individuals between the ages of 1 and 64. If you encounter this issue, please submit a KEES Help Desk ticket. The KEES Help Desk will provide the worker a resolution.

 

Case Linking BOT Rejecting Valid Case Link Request

We are aware of the Case Linking BOT rejecting valid case link requests. If a consumer calls and indicates they are unable to link their SSP account to their case in KEES, submit a KEES Help Desk ticket on their behalf. If the information within the Link Request matches the casehead, workers can manually link their SSP account to their KEES case.

 

Journal Entries Duplicating

We are aware of journal entries duplicating when the Medical Child Turns 19 Discontinuance batch runs. If workers are not sure when the batch ran, please refer to the first journal entry and the date of the EDBC Result.

 

Medical Processing Deadlines – Change for January Eligibility

The KMMS monthly file for January eligibility will be sent to Gainwell earlier than normal this month.  The file will be sent the night of December 18, 2024, instead of December 19, 2024.

The KanCare Proactive Communication Schedule is available on the KEES Repository under KDHE Communications. The calendar was updated on 12/09/2024 to include holidays for the months of 09/2024 through 08/2025.
