We have been informed that the Foster Care Type of Adoptive Home is being assigned to some manual resources in the Foster Care Resource Databank.
When a youth is in the pre-finalization stage for adoption and is placed with the adoptive family, the Administrative Role on the Foster Care Program Block may need to be updated. If a manual RDB is created for the adoptive parent(s) the Type Foster Home must be selected. This allows KEES to recognize the Placement Provider as a foster home and the program is eligible for a Foster Care Aid Code.
