Final KDHE Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2021 has been updated and can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
When Work Programs Staff need to update a Denied or Discontinued WP Program Block, they should update the Program Status BEFORE completing the Work Registration. Doing so will prevent staff from receiving a 1015 Error that will have to be sent to the KEES Help Desk for a data fix. This process can be found in the KEES User Manual.
Child Care has a few scenarios where the review period either needs shortened or extended from the 12 month review period established by KEES. In order to complete such and have the NOA reflect the updated review date staff must follow the steps below:
After Completing Data Collection:
Run EDBC for the application month & review the EDBC Summary for accuracy.
If incorrect, click the Cancel button to go back and make changes to the data collection pages.
If correct, click the Accept button, the EDBC List page displays.
Click the Save and Continue button. The Distributed Documents Search page displays with the Approval NOA (Notice of Action). DO NOT DELETE OR ‘OPEN AND PRINT’ THIS NOTICE!
Select Case Summary from Local Navigation to navigate to the Case Summary page.
Click the View Details button on the Child Care Program Block. The Child Care Detail page displays.
Click the Edit button. The Child Care Detail page becomes editable.
Enter the correct Review Due Month using the <mm/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.
Click the Save and Return button. The Case Summary page displays.
Re-run EDBC for the same month, accept and save the results as the only change was to the review period. The Distributed Documents Search page displays.
Click the Approval NOA (Notice of Action) hyperlink to review the notice for accuracy. The review date should now be updated with the correct 6 month period.
