CTM Remains Active With No Eligible Child In The Home

When an adult household member is receiving Caretaker Medical (CTM) and the only child leaves the home, EDBC is holding CTM eligibility incorrectly for the adult if there is an active tax record on which the adult is claiming a child.

This process assumes that the children have already been coded Permanently Out of the Home on the Household Status Detail page.

Within the context of a case:

1. Navigate to the Tax List page.

2. End Date the tax record using the last day of the month - of the month that CTM should go through.

   Example: Child leaves the home on 11/6; case is worked on 11/10; CTM should go through November; tax record should be end dated on 11/30.

3. Run EDBC. The adult’s coverage is now terminated appropriately.

4. If there is no tax record, Run EDBC with the CE Reset Run Reason.
