Child Receiving CTM in Error WA550

Currently there is a known issue where a child(ren) may receive CTM coverage in error. This may occur at the time of application. Children should only receive CTM coverage when there is a caretaker in the home who is actively receiving CTM Coverage.

This workaround should be used in situations when EDBC incorrectly issues CTM coverage to a child when there is no caretaker in the home receiving CTM.

NOTE: Step 1 assumes the worker has filled out all the necessary Data Collection pages and is ready to run EDBC

  1. Navigate to the Customer Options List page.

  2. Click the Add button.

  3. Select the name of the individual you wish to exclude from CTM.

  4. Select Caretaker Medical from the Type drop-down.

  5. Enter the Begin Date as the first day of the first month you are running EDBC.

  6. Enter the End Date as the last day of the last month you are running EDBC.

  7. Click the Save and Return button if you are done or the Save and Add Another button if you need to create another record for another individual.

  8. Run EDBC for the months needed and verify that the child(ren) receive correct coverage.

  9. Include in the Journal that WA550 was used.
