EBT Case Detail
Security Access to the EBT Case Detail page is being modified. As of next week, staff will no longer be able to access this page. They will need to use the Issuance History page to see if a benefit has been issued or access EBT Edge to verify an issuance. If the Current Status on the Issuance History page shows as Issued, staff can assume the consumer has access to their benefit.
EBT Issuance
Make sure there is a County selected for the Primary Applicant on the Contact Summary page prior to issuing any benefits in KEES. Failing to do this causes the benefit to error off the EBT file.
PPS Payee
When indicating a PPS Payee on a program block, use the 1st of the month as the begin date. Failing to use the 1st of the month can impact payment issuance to the correct payee.
EBT Undeliverable Card – Check Address Task
The EBT Undeliverable Card – Check Address Task does not always generate for the correct case number if the consumer is known to more than one case number. Use the client ID and name located in the task details to troubleshoot the task and issue.
Issuing Work Programs Supportive Service Payments to Consumers in Transitional Status
KEES is not currently allowing staff to issue Supportive Service Payments to consumers with a Work Programs program block in Transitional Status.
Helpful User Manual Material to complete this process:
Open WP – Assign Component Task
KEES is not currently generating an Open WP – Assign Component Task when TANF is approved and there is a Mandatory household member for Work Programs. Staff should maintain the communication process they used prior to KEES to communicate these approvals to Work Programs.
