Medical Processing Deadlines
Processing Deadlines - Fiscal Year 2018 can be found on the KEES Repository under Other Helpful Information.
CSS Referrals and the Non-Custodial Parent Page
Non-Custodial Parent information was converted from both KS Cares and KAECSES. If the child was participating on both a KS Cares and KAECSES program then two Non-Custodial Parent records were converted to KEES. When completing case action, staff should review the Non-Custodial Parent List page to see if duplicate records exist. If there is more than 1 record for the same parent, staff should keep the most accurate record and remove the duplicate record to prevent duplicate CSS referrals when running EDBC.
Mass Payments for Employment Services Providers
KEES is not currently issuing payments to providers that are approved through the Mass Payment process. A data fix ran last night to issue any payments to providers that were entered into KEES by Friday, October 13th.
Until this is fixed staff can continue to:
NOTE: KEES will continue to run a data fix twice a month to get Mass Payments issued to Providers around the middle and end of the month until this issue is resolved.
Forms:
Staff should select Print Locally if they experience an error when attempting to send a form from Distributed Documents or the Form does not appear in Distributed Documents after clicking Print Centrally.
Interview Record Required when Processing an IR:
KEES is requiring an interview record when processing IRs before running EDBC. Until this issue is fixed, create a record on the Customer Appointment Detail page.
Viewing Provider Issuance History from the Fiscal Global Navigation Tab:
A 1001 Error is received when searching by some providers on the Issuance Search page from Fiscal Global Navigation. Until this issue is fixed, use the Advance Search option.

Student Eligibility:
KEES is incorrectly failing applicants for not meeting student eligibility requirements when the Employment Detail page shows the applicant is meeting the 20 hours/week work requirement. Until this is fixed, continue adding School Attendance records, but remove or do not complete the status section of the School Attendance record.
PPS Medical Cases Submitted to Help Desk
When submitting a ticket to the KEES Help Desk for a PPS Medical case, please select ‘Non-Medical’ or ‘Dead Stop Non-Medical’ as the Program Type and ‘PPS’ as the Program Subtype. This will ensure the ticket reaches the appropriate Help Desk staff for resolution.
Non-Medical Processing Deadlines
