ImageNow Printer for KEES Case (Single Electronic Document)

 

  1. Access Perceptive Content.

  2. Left click the drop-down caret for the Applications button on the Perceptive Content toolbar.

  3. Set the appropriate Application Plan as the default.  (See Setting Default Application Plan.)

NOTE: STEP 4 and STEP 5 should only be used when the user has selected the KEES Case Application Plan.

  1. Log into KEES.

  1. Navigate to the Case Summary page for the case associated to the documents.

  2. Outside of KEES, open the electronic document the user wishes to capture. Examples: Word, Excel.

  3. Click the File tab on the top left corner of the screen.

  4. Click the Print button.

  5. Select the ImageNow Printer under the Printer drop-down menu.

  6. Click the Print button.  The ImageNow Print dialog box displays.

  7. Select the appropriate Capture Profile.  Examples: IN Printer Case, IN Printer Case PPS, etc.

  8. Click the OK button.
    NOTE:  When selecting KEES Case as the application plan, ensure the user is in the context of a case and on the KEES Case Summary page in order to auto-populate the Case Number and the Case Name in the following steps.  Do NOT minimize the KEES Case Summary page.  ImageNow is not able to read the IP Address if the page is minimized and an error displays.

  9. The Enter Received Date dialog box displays with the current date auto-populated.
    NOTE: The Default Date is the current date and the user can manually change the date if needed.

  10. Click the OK button.

  11. The Proposed Keys dialog box displays and is auto-populated with Case Number, Case Name, Received Date and Unique ID.

  12. Select the appropriate Document Type from the drop-down menu.

  13. Click the Capture button.  The imaged document opens in the Perceptive Content Viewer – Single Scan screen.

  14. Click the Save icon.  The ImageNow Viewer closes and the document is indexed to the appropriate KEES Case Number.
