Left click the drop-down caret for the Applications button on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.
Set KEES New Application(s) as the default application plan. (See Setting Default Application Plan.)
NOTE: The user needs to set the KEES New Application(s) application plan as the default.
Left click the drop-down caret next to the Capture button on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.
Select Package Mode as the capture profile.
The Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen. The Type Last Name Here dialog box displays.
Enter the Last Name of the consumer associated to the document.
Click the OK button.
The Enter Received Date dialog box displays with the current date auto-populated.
NOTE: The Default Date is the current date and the user can manually change the date if needed.
Click the OK button.
Verify that 3100/3100.1 Medical Application document type is under KEES Applications on the left side of the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen.
NOTE: The list may need to be expanded by clicking on the plus sign to the left of KEES Applications.
Select the 3100/3100.1 Medical Application document type.
NOTE: The 3100/3100.1 Medical Application document type will create a task for the Clearinghouse only letting them know a medical application has been routed to them for processing.
Load the application and the customer’s supporting paper documents into the scanner.
NOTE: Paper goes in scanner upside down and backwards.
Click the Capture icon on the bottom of the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen. The scanner should be invoked and start to scan the document(s).
The scanned image will go directly into the document type that was selected and will display in the Perceptive Content Viewer.
NOTE: The Perceptive Content session may be blinking in the Toolbar at the bottom of the monitor. Click to view.
If supporting documents were submitted with the application, drag and drop all other documents to their appropriate document type(s).
QA the images of the documents for clarity and verify the accuracy of the document keys for all images.
Click the Submit button on Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen. The Perceptive Content Viewer closes.
NOTE: The user re-scans the application and supporting documents for the Non-Medical programs.

NOTE: The user needs to set KEES DCF Non- Medical Application Plan as the default.
Left click the drop-down caret for the Capture button on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.
Select Package Mode as the capture profile.
The Enter Received Date dialog box displays with the current date auto-populated and the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen displays.
NOTE: The Default Date is the current date and the user can manually change the date if needed.
Click the OK button.
On the Perceptive Content Viewer - Package screen, the Document Keys is auto-populated with Received Date and Unique ID.
NOTE: The Received Date will auto-populate based on the date entered in the Received Date dialog box. The user can manually change the received date in the correct format <mm/dd/yyyy> on the Document keys if needed.
Document Keys Case Number and Case Name needs to be manually typed with the KAECSES information.
NOTE: Best practice is to copy the KAECSES Case Number into the Perceptive Content field. Case Name needs to be identical to the way it is spelled in KAECSES.
Verify that the user can view the Application document type under DCF Non-Medical basket on the left hand side of the Perceptive Content Viewer – Package screen.
Select the Application document type.
Load the Application and any supporting paper document(s) into the scanner.
NOTE: Scanner tips
Paper goes in scanner upside down and backward.
Limit 25 pages in the tray at a time but can continuously feed.
At the end of a scan, a message to load pages displays. Click Cancel.
Click the Capture icon on the bottom of the Perceptive Content Viewer – Package screen. The scanner should be invoked and start to scan the document(s).
The scanned image will go directly into the Application document type and will display in the Perceptive Content Viewer. If needed, drag and drop the supporting document(s) to their appropriate document type(s).
