KEES Home Page

The KEES home page is the starting point of the system and is made up of several areas:

KEES Home Page Area

Description

KEES Icon

Displayed in the upper left corner of every KEES page. Clicking on this icon while on any page returns the user to the KEES home page and also takes the user out of the context of a case.

Utility Navigation

The utility functions are listed in a horizontal row across the top right section and include Journal, Tasks, Reminders (do not use), Contact Log, Logout, and Help.

Global Navigation

A series of tabs at the top of every KEES page that organize and provide access to pages in KEES by topic. A darkened Global Navigation indicates selection. Tabs display based on a user’s security rights.  

Local Navigation

A series of tabs displaying just below the Global Navigation at the top of every KEES page that organize and provide access to pages in KEES by topic. The Local Navigation is dynamic based on the Global Navigation selection. An outlined Local Navigation tab indicates selection. Tabs display based on a user’s security rights.

Task Navigation

A series of hyperlinks displaying on the left side of the KEES page below the Global and Local Navigation. The Task Navigation is dynamic based on the Global and Local Navigation selection. A darkened Task Navigation indicates selection. Options display based on a user’s security rights.

Quick Search

Located on the left side of the KEES home page. Select the Case Number radio button, enter the case number in the text box, and click Go to perform a search on a specific case number in KEES. Do not use the Request ID radio button.

Password Reset

Located on the left side of the KEES home page. Click the hyperlink to navigate to Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).

Reminders

Do Not Use.

Task Portlet

Displays any tasks that are currently assigned to the user. Click the Add Task button to create a task or the View All button to navigate to the Task Inventory page.

Message Center

Do Not Use.

FYI – (32498) If a user opens KEES and cannot view the entire Home Page press F12 to display the Developer Tools window. Select a browser or document mode of IE 8 or IE 9 standards. Close the Developer Tools window.
