Associate Pre-Existing Contact Log Record to a New Case

Daily batch that identifies Contact Logs with no Case Numbers and matches them to newly registered cases. The Contact Log is updated with the Case Number.

Auto Associate Case Numbers

Bi-monthly batch that identifies cases with the same case head.  The case numbers will display as Companion Cases.

Child Referral

Daily batch to identify children open on both a Medical Program and HCBS or Foster Care case.  A task is generated to notify of dual coverage.

LTC Recipient Turns 18 – Notify to Apply for SSA

Monthly batch is designed to identify individuals on an active medical program receiving certain LTC services who are turning 18 in the next calendar month to notify individual to apply for an SSA disability determination. The individual will be sent the V802 LTC Recipient Turns 18 – Notify to Apply for SSA form.

SSI Recipient Turns 18

The SSI Recipient Turns 18 Batch runs monthly and is designed to identify members on an active medical program with an SSI aid code who are turning 18 in the next calendar month. The individual will be sent a cover letter and the KC-1100 application.

LTC/SSI Recipient Turns 19

A task is created when this batch runs. This is to ensure the worker can take the appropriate action. The worker is expected to journal any actions taken on the case. The LTC/SSI Recipient Turns 19 task is a follow up item for the batches ‘LTC Recipient Turns 18 – Notify to Apply for SSA’ and ‘SSI Recipient Turns 18’.

Child in Medicaid Turns 19

Monthly batch is designed to sweep for, and then discontinue medical persons where a child receiving PLN or PLT benefits reaches a critical age of (19) in the batch month. The individual will be sent a cover letter and the KC-1100 application.

NOTE: Batch will NOT send out a cover letter and KC-1100 if the child is the Case Head of their own case.

Estate Recovery Death Referral

Daily batch to notify the Estate Recovery Unit.

Estate Recovery Pre-Death Referral

Daily batch to notify the Estate Recovery Unit via task of new LTC consumers over the age of 54 with a Real Property record on the Resource page.

Medical Missing Verifications

Daily batch that identifies verification requests that are two days past due. The Task Status is updated to "KDHE-Past Due".

Medical Review Type Determination

Monthly batch that identifies programs or persons with a review due and determines the most comprehensive review type.

Medical Subrogation Referral

Daily batch to notify the Medical Subrogation Unit via task when a record has been created on the Third Party Liability - Medical Subrogation page.

Overdue Pregnancy

Monthly batch to identify medical programs with a consumer who has a pregnancy record with no termination date and is two months past the pregnancy due month. If applicable, Batch EDBC will discontinue the consumer with notification.

PE Dual Coverage

Monthly batch to identify PE program persons who have been approved for full medical coverage. Batch EDBC will discontinue the program and person.

PE Portal Expired Applications

Daily batch to identify incomplete PE Portal Applications that are three working days past the Submit By date.

Post-Discontinuance Processing

Sweeps for LTC cases that were closed for Failure to Return Review. Also looks for MEMs with LTC aid codes and end dates their LTC Data Detail record.

Review Discontinuance      

Monthly batch to identify medical persons with a required review due and the Document Status is “Sent” or “Received” and the Report Status is anything but, “Complete – EDBC Accepted”, “Not Applicable”, or “Passive” and discontinue the applicable individuals.  This includes Reviews that are in 'Received' status but haven't been signed.

Reporting Newborns Reminder Form

Monthly batch to identify pregnant women with a due date in the come-up month. A form is generated to remind the consumer to report the birth of their baby.

Spenddown Base Period Ending

Monthly batch to create a task on cases with a spenddown base period ending the following month.

SSP Purge Expired Partial Applications

Daily batch that identifies partially completed SSP applications without a submission or edit within the last 120 days and removes them.

Review Unprocessed Discontinuance Batch

Batch that discontinues coverage for Failure to Process Review when Review has been returned however has not yet been worked.
