Adding Approved Children - Pending

The Approved Child List indicates which children the Relative Provider has been approved to provide care for. This process must start within the context of the Provider Resource Detail. For more information on accessing the Resource Detail page, see Searching the Resource Databank.

To Add Approved Children - Pending

  1. Within the context of the relative child care provider Resource Detail, select Approved Children from Task Navigation. The Approved Children List page displays.

  2. Click the Add button. The Approved Child Detail page displays.

  3. Click the Select button under Child Name. The Select Person page displays.

  4. Enter the Case Number provided on the referral.

  5. Click the Search button. All persons associated to the case number entered display in the Search Results Summary.

  6. Click the radio button for the child listed on the referral, then click the Select button. If the child is associated to multiple cases, the Select Case page displays.

  1. Enter the referral date in the Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  2. Select Pending from the Status drop-down menu.

  3. Click the Save and Return button. The Approved Children List page displays.

NOTE: It is necessary to complete the Adding Approved Children - Pending steps for each child on the referral.
