Child Care (CC) Data Collection

To navigate to the Child Care Data Collection pages, follow these steps:

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click the Go button. The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Click Eligibility from Global Navigation.

  3. Click Customer Information from Local Navigation. The child care data collection hyperlinks display in Task Navigation.

  4. Click the + or sign next to Child Care to expand or collapse the list of child care data collection pages.

NOTE on Existing High-Dated Data Collection records:

For Non-Financial, Financial, and Child Care Data Collection records that do NOT utilize effective dating, when a record is high-dated (with no End Date) and no longer applies to the program or person, users should enter an End Date as the last day of the month prior to the first month EDBC is being run for the action being taken.  Common pages that may require this action are Pregnancy, School Attendance, Employment, Medical Condition, Income, Resources, Expenses, Medicare Expenses, Child Care Need - Parent, Child Care Need - Child, Parent Schedule, Child Schedule and Family Plan.

Child Care Data Collection Pages

The information entered on the Child Care data collection pages determines the benefit allotments for the Child Care Program.  These pages are not visible in Task Navigation unless there is a Child Care program block.
