Child Placement - PPS

The Child Placement page is used to record each placement for the foster child. This creates a historical record of all the child’s placements.

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go. The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation and Customer Information from Local Navigation.

  3. Click the + sign next to Foster Care from Task Navigation. The menu expands to display Custody Authority, Child Placement, and Re-Evaluation.

  4. Select Child Placement from Task Navigation. The Child Placement List page displays.

  5. Click the Add button. The Child Placement Detail page displays.

  6. Click the Select button to access the Placement Name resource. The Select Foster Care Resource page displays.

  1. Select the appropriate value from the Payee drop-down menu.

NOTE: If Case Management Agency is selected the Payee Name and Select button dynamically display.

  1. Enter the date of placement in the Begin Date field using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or calendar icon.

  2. Enter Non-Dependent Child information, if applicable.

NOTE: The Non-Dependent Child section allows the user to enter information regarding any children residing with their parent in foster child.

NOTE: The End Date field is only entered if the child is leaving foster care.

  1. Click the Save and Return button.
