Contact Summary - PPS

The following address regulations are to be adhered to when entering an address for PPS cases.

If an address is to be updated users Add a new address. This allows KEES to keep a historical record.

NOTE:  Once an initial address record is created, an update to an address for a child in foster care will generally only occur when the Custody Authority changes, e.g. from DCF to KDOC.

NOTE: The Contact Summary Page uses Continuous Dating, there can be no gaps or overlaps in records.  If the address needs to be updated, user must Add a new record.  When the new record is saved, effective dating occurs to maintain historical data.

To Add a Contact Summary Page:

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go. The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Select Case Info from Global Navigation and Customer Information from Local Navigation.

  3. Select Contact from Task Navigation.  The Contact Summary page displays.

  4. Click the Add button. The Address Detail page displays.  

  5. Select the Consumer’s name from the Address Applies To drop-down menu.

  6. Enter the Begin Date using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or calendar icon.

  7. Multi-select Mailing and Physical from the Address Type(s) drop-down menu by holding Ctrl key while clicking each value.

NOTE:  Always make sure there is a mailing and physical address listed for every person receiving assistance.

  1. Click the Save and Return button.  The Select Address page displays.

  2. Select the radio button for Normalized Address.

  3. Click the Select button.
