When a family reports a non-temporary complete loss of employment or they stop attending and are no longer enrolled in job training/education plan and no longer have a different qualified need for child care, they are potentially eligible for a 3 month Continuation of Care.
For the Income Record: Update the income record as needed with the newly reported information. See Editing Income for detailed steps.
For the Family Plan: Shorten the Family Plan to allow for the 3 month Continuation of Care, selecting Continuation of Care from the Change Reason menu. See Editing a Family Plan for detailed steps.
Running EDBC: Run EDBC for the necessary programs through come-up month. See Running EDBC for detailed steps.
Distributed Documents: Review the Change notice to ensure accuracy.
NOTE: A new C811 – Family Plan will be sent via batch.
KEES automatically closes the case at the end of the Family Plan through a batch process.
