Edit or Remove a Telephone Number - PPS

PPS policy has made a decision that telephone numbers are not to be entered on the Individual Demographics page for children in foster care.

For Adoption Assistance, Permanent Custodian Subsidy, Youth Independent Living, ICPC/ICAMA, and Vendor Payments the telephone number may be entered on the Individual Demographics page. Only one telephone number is to be entered.  Enter the preferred number most likely to reach the adoptive parent, custodian, consumer or youth.

To Edit a Telephone Number

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field.

  2. Delete all telephone numbers entered in the Phone Number field. Click the check box next to the phone number to be removed, then click the Remove button.

  3. Enter the new Phone Number.

  4. Change the first letter of the first or last name from upper case to lower case or vice versa. (This will need to be done each time you edit a telephone number.)

  5. Click the Save and Return button. KEES will transmit the new information to MMIS for cases with Active medical programs.

To Remove a Telephone Number

  1. Access the case through Person Search or enter the Case Number in the quick search field.

  2. Click the check box next to the Phone Number to be removed, then click the Remove button.

  3. Change the first letter of the First Name or Last Name from upper case to lower case.

  4. Click the Save and Return button. KEES will transmit the new information to MMIS for cases with active medical programs.

NOTE: Check MMIS the following day to see if the telephone number has been removed.
