Entering Hours of Participation by Days of Week With or Without Excused Absences

If hours are not entered in the Total Hours/Month field or the Average Hours Per Week field, they can be entered under each day the Activity is open for the month to calculate actual hours and/or absent hours. When hours are entered under each day, the Weekly Total column populates to be used by the TANF Report.

NOTE: End Dates on the Customer Activity Detail page should be in sync with participation recorded on the Activity Progress Detail page.  For example, if staff have recorded participation hours on the Activity Progress Detail page for every week in September, the Customer Activity End Date should not be prior to the last day of the month.

  1. Select Services from Global Navigation. Select Activities from Local Navigation. The Customer Activities List page displays.

  2. Click the View Progress button. The Activity Progress Detail page displays.

  3. Click the Edit button. The Activity Progress Detail page displays in edit mode.

  4. In the Activity Progress History section, enter the Month using the <mm/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  5. Enter the reported participation hours in the Attendance field for the corresponding days for each week.

NOTE: If entering Absent Hours for a scheduled participation day, the Attendance field must contain a value even if the value is “0”.

  1. Enter the reported absent hours in the Absent Hours field for the corresponding days for each week.

  2. If the consumer had absent hours for the week, select the appropriate Absence Reason from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the check box if the consumer had Excused Absences for appropriate day(s).

  4. Review the weekly attendance fields for accuracy.

  5. Click the Save and Return button.

  6. Review the weekly attendance fields for accuracy.

  7. Click the Save and Return button. The Activity Progress Detail page displays.

  8. Click the Close button. The Customer Activities List page displays.
