Establish a Requested Medical Type - PPS

  1. Access the case through Person Search - PPS or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go.  The Case Summary page displays.

  2. Click the View Details button in the Medical Programs block. The Medical Program Detail page displays.

  3. Click the Edit button. The Medical Program Detail page displays in an editable format.

  4. Click the Edit button in the Program Persons section.  The Medical Person Detail page displays.

  5. Click the Add button in the Requested Medical Type section. The Requested Medical Type Detail page displays.

  6. Select PPS from the Requested Medical Type drop-down menu.

  7. Enter the Begin Month using the <mm/dd/yyyy> format or the calendar icon.

  8. Click the Save and Return button. The Case Summary page displays the RMT.

  9. Proceed to Non-Financial Data Collection when each program block is completed.

NOTE: The same process is followed to change the RMT from PPS to LTC if the child is residing in a PRTF or receiving HCBS services.
