Image PPS Attachment Only

NOTE: To capture just the attachment to an e-mail the user does not have to set Perceptive Content Printer as their Default Printer.

  1. Log into KEES.

  2. Navigate to the Case Summary page for the case associated to the documents.
    NOTE:  Ensure you are in the context of a case and on the KEES Case Summary page in order to auto-populate the Case Number and the Case Name in the following steps.  Do NOT minimize the KEES Case Summary page.  Perceptive Content is not able to read the IP Address if the page is minimized and an error displays.

  3. Access Perceptive Content.

  4. Set KEES Case - PPS as the default application plan.  (See Setting Default Application Plan.)

  5. Left click the drop-down caret next to the Capture button on the Perceptive Content Toolbar.

  6. Select Package Mode as the default capture profile.

  7. Outside of KEES, navigate to the e-mail you wish to capture.

  8. Click the File tab on the top left corner of the screen.

  9. Click the Print button. The Print Preview page displays.

  10. Select ImageNow Printer from the printer drop-down menu.

  11. Click Print.

  12. The ImageNow Print displays.  Select IN Printer – Case No Task as the desired capture profile.

  13. Click the OK button.

  14. The Enter Received Date pop up window is displayed. Enter the Received Date.
    NOTE: The Received Date will auto populate to the current date. The user can manually change the received date if needed.

  15. Click the OK button.

  16. The Proposed Keys window opens.
    NOTE: The Case Number and Case Name is auto populated getting values from the KEES Case Summary page. The Received Date will also be auto populated based on the date entered in the Received Date pop up window. The user can also manually change the received date in the correct format <mm/dd/yyyy> on the proposed keys if needed.

  17. Select PPS Forms from the Document Type drop-down menu on the Proposed Keys.

  18. Click the Capture button.

  19. The Perceptive Content Viewer opens in a new window displaying all the pages.

  20. The Document Keys also displays on the right side on the Perceptive Content Viewer.
    NOTE: The user can change the Document Type and the Received Date on the Document Keys if needed.

  21. Click the Submit button.

  22. The Perceptive Content Viewer closes and the document is indexed to the appropriate case number.
