Living Arrangements - Data Acceptance Non-Medical

The Living Arrangements Detail page is used to add or edit a consumer’s living situation. This record is used by the rules to determine if the consumer is in a facility that allows benefits. Some examples of these facilities are: Battered Women/Child Shelter, Campus Housing, Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center, Nursing Home, Incarcerated, Hospital, Institution due to Mental Disease.

This page should be used to capture any of the possible living arrangements offered.  Even though the living arrangement may not make someone ineligible the expectation is for staff to capture all applicable Living Arrangements. To add or update a Living Arrangement:

1. Select Eligibility from Global Navigation. Select Customer Information from Local Navigation. Select Living Arrangement from Task Navigation. The Living Arrangement List page displays.

2. Click the Edit button for the case person with a New indicator. The Living Arrangement Detail page displays.

3. The user has three options:

   • To accept all data reported via the SSP for this record, click the Check All button.  Then click the Accept button.

   • To accept only some data reported via the SSP for this record:

     • Select each check box for the new data element(s) to be accepted.

     • Click the Accept button. A Light Box displays the question: “The following data items have not been accepted. Clicking “Continue” will reject this data. Do you want to continue?”

     • Click the Continue button to proceed or the Cancel button to re-evaluate the data before proceeding.

   • To reject all data reported via the SSP for this record:

     • Click the Reject All button. A Light Box displays the question: “The following data items have been rejected. Clicking “Continue” will confirm the rejection. Do you want to continue?”

     • Click the Continue button to proceed or the Cancel button to re-evaluate the data before proceeding.

4. The Effective Dating Confirmation List page displays. This page shows KEES is end dating the existing record and starting a new record. Verify the dates are correct then click the Save button. Save returns the user to the Living Arrangements List page. Click Cancel if the dates are incorrect and return to STEP 2.
