Manually Linking Companion Cases - PPS

A consumer may be the primary applicant on two or more cases. These should be set automatically by KEES.  The user can manually link companion cases if this does not occur.  

PPS converted cases have a foster care case number and an adoption case number.  These cases should be linked if not already completed by KEES.

To Manually Link Companion Cases:

1. Access the case through Person Search - PPS or enter the Case Number in the quick search field from Task Navigation and click Go. The Case Summary page displays.

2. Click the Add button in the Companion Case section. The Select Person page displays.

3. Enter the Case Number or search criteria of the case to link.

4. Click the Search button.  The Select Person page displays with a list of cases.

5. Click the radio button for the case which needs to be linked.

6. Click the Select button.  The Case Summary page displays the linked case number.

NOTE: If the case number linked is incorrect, select the check box for the number then click the Remove button.
