Matching Review Periods for TANF/FA

In some situations KEES matches the Review period for TANF and FA programs.

If a consumer has an Active TANF program with an established Review Due Month and Food Assistance is approved, KEES matches the Food Assistance Review Due Month to the TANF Review Due Month if the TANF Review Due Month is between 6 and 12 months from the Food Assistance start month.

Example 1: TANF Review Due Month between 6 and 12 months from Food Assistance application month.

Consumer applies for Food Assistance in March 2017. Consumer has an existing TANF program with a Review Due Month of November 2017. KEES sets the Food Assistance Review Due Month to November 2017.

Example 2: TANF Review Due Month not between 6 and 12 months from Food Assistance application month.

Consumer applies for Food Assistance in March 2017. Consumer has an existing TANF program with a Review Due Month of May 2017. KEES sets the Food Assistance Review Due Month to February 2018.

NOTE: KEES does not automatically match the Review Due Month if the Food Assistance is a 24 month Review household or for Child Care programs.

If the Review Due Month is not set appropriately the user may manually set a Review Due Month. See Troubleshooting Reviews for more information on manually adjusting the review period.
