Congratulations, your application for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) has been approved.
You have been approved for: *BENEFIT AMOUNT*. Your Benefit will be split equally between your two vendors as you requested.
A check in the amount of *BENEFIT AMOUNT*will be mailed to *VENDOR NAME* and *VENDOR NAME* within 14 days. They will apply the payment to your account and it should show on your utility bill within 45 days.
If you have changed vendors or if the above vendors are not correct, please contact the LIEAP office to resolve the issue.
You must continue to pay your current utility costs. This will ensure continued service and protect your credit.
NOTE: If you have a current overpayment, your benefit will be reduced based on the Kansas Economic and Employment Support Manual (KEESM). If you are subject to a recoupment, you will receive separate notification regarding the adjusted amount of your benefit.
