Reactivating a Provider in ebtEDGE (EBT)

When a Child Care Provider is reinstated it is necessary to reactivate them in ebtEDGE (EBT). This process must start within the context of the Provider Resource Detail. For more information on accessing the Resource Detail page, see Searching the Resource Databank.

  1. Within the context of the child care provider Resource Detail, update any necessary information on the page.

  2. In the Child Care Information block:

    1. Enter the EBT Referral Date as today’s date.

    2. Take note of the EBT Closure Date as this date is needed later in the process.

    3. Remove the EBT Closure Date.

  3. Click the Save button. The Resource Detail page displays in view mode.

  4. Click the Edit button. The Resource Detail page redisplays in edit mode.

  5. In the Child Care Information block, enter the previously removed EBT Closure Date.

  6. Click the Save button. The Resource Detail page displays in view mode.

    Note: If it is discovered that staff forget to put the EBT Closure Date back in after saving.  When editing the Resource Detail page, it will be necessary to follow STEPS 2 - 6.
