Regenerating a document allows the user to make a duplicate copy of the user selected document. The document is not editable. Users are unable to regenerate a deleted Form or NOA.
This process is utilized for Returned Mail and when a consumer requests an additional copy of a form or NOA that has already been sent.
NOTE: When Returned Mail is received, even if the address is corrected in KEES prior to regenerating, the worker still has to manually address an envelope to re-mail the correspondence. Regenerating the document simply reprints what has already been printed/mailed/saved.
NOTE: Only original or regenerated original Barcoded Documents update the Document Status on the Review and IR/12 Month Report page.
See IN Printing for information on imaging the form.
